Aligarh in Hindi is a 2016 biographical drama movie based on the life of Indian linguist and author Dr. Srinivas Ramachandra Siras , which had been suspended from his job because of their sexual orientation .Siras , a Marathi professor at Aligarh Muslim University .
After successfully appealing his suspension , he died under suspicious circumstances . Manoj Bajpai plays the role of Siras, and plays the journalist Rajkumar Rao . Shooting Bareilly , Agra, held Uttar Pradesh . On 26 February 2016, the film is slated for a world wide theatrical release.
